The Brownwood City Council, in session Tuesday, March 26, 2019, went into executive session to consider termination of the sales contract for the old Central Fire Station property.
According to the City, following executive session, the Council, based upon the fact that the contract to sell real property had expired and Mr. Ruth did not sign the extension agreement approved by Council, voted to terminate the contract and return the earnest money in the amount of $5,000.00 to Mr. Ruth.
