After a brief discussion, the Burn Ban in Brown County remains OFF as of Monday, April 1st, after the Brown County Commissioner meeting.  In other business commissioners approved the County Sheriff accepting two checks (donations) for restoration of the SWAT vehicle.  One check was from Mr. and Mrs. Jerry DeHay in the amount of $1,000.  Another check in the amount of $50 was accepted from Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Jones.  Sheriff Hill also noted that, as of April 1st, there were 147 inmates in the Brown County Law Enforcement Center.  Maximum capacity of the LEC is 196.
