The Comanche City Council is scheduled to meet at 6:30 pm Monday, April 8, at 101 East Grand in Comanche.  Agenda item number 7 under old business concerns the Comanche Volunteer Fire Department.  There is an ongoing rift between the City and volunteer fire department.  The agenda item states “Open discussion among City Council member (without public comment) and presentation of various documents and instruments related thereof concerning the Fire Department.
