Outgoing Brownwood Police Chief, Terry Nichols, was honored with a reception Wednesday, April 10, 2019, at the Depot Civic and Cultural Center in Brownwood.  A large crowd gathered to wish him well.  Several co-workers and law enforcement associates spoke, sharing stories, laughs, even some tears.  All commented on the lasting impact Chief Nichols will leave in Brownwood.  The next stop for the Nichols family will be closer to other family members in Seguin, Texas.  Terry will become the Police Chief of Seguin and lead an 81 employee force.
