Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday, April 23-24, the KOXE listening area is in a prime location for a few severe storms and heavy rainfall in excess of two inches. Storms are expected to be widespread, activated by an upper level low and a southward moving cold front.

According to the San Angelo National Weather Service, 2 to 3 inches of rain, possibly more, can be expected.
