Four Arrested Wednesday for D.W.I.

The following calls were included on the Brownwood Police Department Offense/Incident Report on Thursday, April 25, 2019

On Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at approximately 2126 hours, Officers with the Brownwood Police Department received a call in reference to a suspicious vehicle.  Officers arrived on scene in the 1600 block of Austin Avenue and, after a brief investigation, arrested two drivers for Driving While Intoxicated.

On April 24, 2019 at approximately 2145 hours, a Brownwood Police Officer was dispatched to 1400 Austin Ave (Brookshires) in reference to theft.  During this call, it was reported that a male subject entered the store and stole two cases of beer.  An active report was generated.

On April 24, 2019 Brownwood Police received a call regarding two suspicious vehicles in the parking lot of a southside business in the 1600 Block of Austin Avenue which led to the arrest of a known female for Driving While Intoxicated with an Open Container.

On Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at approximately 1122 hours, an Officer was dispatched to the Law Enforcement Center for a walk-in in reference to Fraud.  Officer met with the complainant who told police an unknown subject accessed one of his credit cards and made a purchase without his permission.  The officer asked the complainant if he wished to pursue charges.  A report was generated and completed.

On Wednesday, April 24, 2019 Officers responded to the intersection of 10th and Good Shepard in reference to a possible intoxicated driver.  After arriving on scene and speaking with the driver of the vehicle, the driver was taken to BRMC for a blood draw.  After the blood draw was complete, the driver was transported to Brown County Jail for Driving While Intoxicated.
