It was an impressive morning of heavy rain over much of Central Texas, including here in Brownwood and Early.
The Doppler estimated rainfall totals from this morning show the heaviest rain fell in McCulloch County. 2 to 5 inch amounts are estimates near Brady and southwest McCulloch County.
A Flash Flood Warning was issued for Brady through this morning and officials reported water rescues underway early this morning in Brady.
One inch rain amounts were common in Coleman County.
The forecast calls for the weather to be calm for the rest of the day and temperatures well below normal, highs in the 60’s, for the rest of this week.
