Stamp Out Hunger This Saturday, May 11

The Letter Carries Food Drive is coming up this Saturday, May 11.  Food collected in Brown County will stay local and benefits the food pantry at St. John’s Church.  The pantry is seeing a growing need with a 25 percent increase in families served, averaging 120 families served weekly.

There are also several drop-off points at volunteer fire departments around the county.  Those include Lake Bridge, Winchell, North Lake and Zephyr volunteer fire departments.

You can also leave your non-perishable food donations in sacks or boxes at your mail receptacle this Saturday, May 11th, for Stamp Out Hunger Day sponsored by the National Association of Letter Carriers.
