Lake Brownwood is on the rise again.  According to John Allen of Brown County Water Improvement District, as of 5:30 am Friday, Lake Brownwood was at elevation 1425.77 or right at 7 tenths of a foot above spillway.  The lake is still slowly rising from runoff.  Allen said he is not expecting a big rise unless we get more rain.  Rain is in the forecast today and Saturday and again early next week.
