District Attorney, Micheal Murray, says that a felony case was recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court with Judge Stephen Ellis presiding.

Justin Arnold Castro pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver and was sentenced to Fifteen (15) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Austin McAbee pled guilty to the felony offense of Sexual Assault and was sentenced to Twelve (12) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.  Further, McAbee, pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession or Promotion of Child Pornography and was sentenced to Eight (8) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Larry Don Knight pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to Ten (10) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Ashley Nichole Brooks pled guilty to the felony offenses of Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence and Prohibited Substances in a Correctional Facility and was sentenced to Five (5) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
