Brown County S.O. Call Report for May 27-28

The following calls for service were responded to in recent days by the Brown County Sheriff’s Department.

On May 27, 2019, at approximately 3:50 pm, a Deputy was dispatched to a business in the 9200 block of Highway 279 for a domestic disturbance.  Upon arrival the officer discovered the male subject had left the area.  Details were gathered from the female and a report was completed.

On Tuesday, May 28, 2019, at 07:56 hours, a Deputy was dispatched to West Main Blvd. in regards to theft.  The Deputy spoke with a man who said an unknown person had stolen his dog.  The man later called and said he had located his dog.  A report was taken.

On Tuesday, May 28, 2019, an S.O. Lieutenant was dispatched to a business on Highway 279 in regards to counterfeit money.  One man is being listed as a suspect.

On Tuesday, May 28, 2019, at 10:56 hours, a Deputy was dispatched to West U.S. 67 in Brownwood.  This was in regard to a weapon offense.  The Deputy met with a man who said a customer brought a gun in for repair and the gun accidentally discharged.  An information report was taken.
