The following calls for service were responded to in recent days by the Brownwood Police Department and included on their report Monday, June 3, 2019.
On Friday, May 31, 2019 at approximately 0810 hours, Officer Risdon was dispatched to a north Brownwood address regarding a Burglary of a vehicle that occurred sometime during the night. An investigation and a report were completed.
On Tuesday, 5/21/19, at 1203 hrs, while on duty at 2100 Slayden (Brownwood High School), I was dispatched to 2601 Crockett Dr (Brownwood Regional Medical Center) ER, in reference to a juvenile having been assaulted at the Coggin Intermediate School (800 Rogan). An investigation determined that a juvenile had been assaulted and a suspect named. Case will be forwarded to the Juvenile Probation Office for review and consideration into criminal prosecution.
On 5/31/2019, at approximately 1300 hours, Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1700 block of 4th street for a call of theft. Police made contact with complainant and a report was made for theft.
On Friday, May 31, Brownwood Police Officers were dispatched to a north Brownwood residence for a theft report. Information was gathered and a report was generated.
On Friday, May 31 2019, at approximately 1508 hours, Officer Risdon was dispatched to a north Brownwood business regarding a minor accident that had occurred in the parking lot. Upon arrival an investigation and a report was completed.
On 5/31/2019 Brownwood Police took a report of a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was found on the same day.
On May 31, 2019, at approximately 1800 hours, Officers with the Brownwood Police Department were notified by a caller in reference to a pickup swerving all over the roadway, then later striking a power pole. The vehicle was stopped and a man arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.
On Saturday, June 1st, 2019 at approximately 2200 hours Officers with the Brownwood Police Department took a report of a stolen bicycle in the 500 block of W Commerce.
On 6/2/19, at approximately 2143 hrs, I was dispatched to the area of Harbor Freight in reference to someone firing a weapon. This call lead to the arrest of a man for unlawful carrying of a weapon and discharging a firearm in the city limits.
On Sunday June 2, 2019, at approximately 2100 hours, Officers with the Brownwood Police Department were called to an intoxicated subject trespassing in the 1500 block of Coggin. A man was located and arrested for Criminal Trespass, Theft Enhanced and Public Intoxication.
