KOXE Photo – Brownwood Fire Marshal and Interim Chief, Buddy Preston

Brownwood Mayor, Stephen Haynes, announced during the farewell reception for Fire Chief, Eddy Wood, that the man stepping into the interim role of Fire Chief is the current Fire Marshal, Buddy Preston.  He will serve in both positions until the Brownwood City Council hires the next Fire Chief, a process Mayor Haynes said could take six to eight weeks.
