San Saba Fire & Rescue, along with other community fire departments, responded early Friday morning to the Lowe’s Super Market in San Saba.  Heavy smoke could be seen coming from the building. A photo shared on the San Saba Fire Rescue Facebook page showed heavy smoke at around 1:00 am. We are told the store is the primary provider of food for the community though a Dollar General does carry some food supplies.   The extent of the damage was not known early Friday morning.
