If you missed the Brown County Republican Candidates Forum on Tuesday night, it is available for viewing here on KOXE.COM at the following link: https://www.koxe.com/2022/02/07/candidates-forum/
The three-plus hour event featured introductory and closing comments, along with question-and-answer sessions with candidates for Brown County Judge, County Commissioner in Precincts 2 and 3, and Justice of the Peace in Precincts 3 and 4.
Prior to the candidates taking the stage it was announced that the incumbent Brown County Judge Paul Lilly would not be attending the event. He issued a statement yesterday morning saying that due to a scheduling issue he would be unable to attend the candidate’s forum.
Each county judge candidate attending – Molly Kay Smith, Shane Britton and Terry Blevins was asked the same five questions, along with a sixth question that pertained solely to a specific candidate. One-minutes responses were allowed for each question.
Those questions and answers can be read in their entirety on Brownwoodnews.com.
The event was sponsored by the Brown County Republican Party.
