The Howard Payne University athletic department will honor four individuals and one team at the 2023 HPU Sports Alumni Banquet on Saturday, May 22, 2023.

The 2023 HPU Sports Alumni Weekend awards banquet will be Saturday, April 22, 2023, in the Bullion Suites at HPU’s Mabee University Center.’

A reception will be at 5:30 p.m., dinner served at 6:00 p.m., and the award ceremony will begin at 6:30 p.m. Cost of banquet tickets is $20 per person.

The annual HPU Sports Alumni Banquet is held in the spring to honor great Yellow Jacket teams of the past, recognize individuals who have accomplished great things outside of HPU athletics, officially induct individuals or teams into the HPU Sports Hall of Fame, and recognize athletic alumni who have excelled in the arena of sports, either as coaches or administrators after graduation.
