A graveside funeral service for Dennis Priddy, age 78, of Bangs, will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 3, 2025, in the Rocky Creek Cemetery, with Brian Hall officiating, under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 at the funeral home.

Dennis passed from this life on Thursday, May 1, 2025, in Brownwood.

Dennis Wayne Priddy was born in Brownwood on March 23, 1947, to Lola Doris (Blair) and Joseph Arthur “Joe” Priddy.  He married Phyllis Raibourn on August 12, 1983, in Odessa.  Dennis worked as a mechanic and as a farmer before retiring.  He enjoyed working in his garden, woodwork, watching baseball and spending time his family.

Dennis is survived by his wife of 41 years, Phyllis Priddy of Bangs, two daughters, Sigrid (Scott) Huddleston of Sidney and Meredith (Cody) Stone of Dublin; four grandchildren, Abigail, Ty, and Ely Huddleston, and Weston Stone.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Travis Priddy.
