Keith Ramsey, 56, of Aubrey, Texas, passed away at his home on June 28, 2025. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 3, at Heartland Funeral Home in Early, Texas. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m., also at Heartland Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Indian Creek Cemetery.
Born on July 8, 1968, in Brownwood, Keith was a proud graduate of Early High School, Class of 1986. He attended Angelo State University, then Tarleton State University, and later earned a degree in Business Administration from Dallas Baptist University.
Keith grew up attending Early First Baptist Church, where he accepted Christ as his personal Savior at the age of eight-a decision that shaped the rest of his life.
Throughout his career, Keith worked in a variety of business-related roles, applying his education and work ethic across several industries. He was known for his reliability, professionalism, and commitment to doing things the right way.
From a young age, Keith had a passion for sports. He played Little League baseball as a child and continued his love for athletics throughout his school years, participating in golf, football, and basketball. Of all the sports he played, basketball was his favorite. His enthusiasm didn’t stop on the court-he was an avid fan of both college and professional sports. If anyone wanted to know a football score on a Friday night, they knew they could just ask Keith.
Keith cherished time with his family, especially when everyone was able to gather in Brownwood for holidays and special occasions. His four grandchildren brought him immense joy, and he treasured every moment he spent with them.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Ramsey; his son Richard Ramsey and wife Allison of Georgetown, Texas; his son Wesley Ramsey and wife Brooklyn of Santaquin, Utah, along with their four children-Hayven, Abel, Cash, and Malcolm; and his daughter Makenna Ramsey of Aubrey, Texas.
Keith is also survived by his mother, Ann Ramsey of Brownwood, Texas; his sister, Karen Clemmer and her husband Walt of Abilene, Texas; and their children: Drew Clemmer of Abilene, and Jared Clemmer and wife Chloe of Lubbock, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Ramsey.
He will be deeply missed by his extended family and the many friends whose lives he touched.
