Juan Rodriguez, 71, of Albany, TX passed away on December 2, 2025. He was surrounded by his loving family and entered the Kingdom of Heaven peacefully. A visitation with the family will be held at Heartland Funeral Home in Early at 2:00 PM, Rosary at 3:00 PM, Sunday, December 7th, 2025 and Mass at St. Mary Catholic Church, Brownwood, Texas 10:00 AM, Monday, December 8th, 2025 with interment to follow at Eastland Memorial Park.

Juan was born on December 26, 1953 in Jimenez, Coahiula, Mexico. At the young age of 13, Juan came to the United States, settling in Oklahoma where he began working and building the foundation of the hardworking life he would be known for. In 1982, he moved to Albany, TX and began working for Holson Well Service where he learned all about the oilfield. Two years later in 1984 he joined C. E. Jacobs, where he worked as an oil pumper and dedicated 38 loyal years of service before retiring in September of 2022. It has been said that he was the strongest man in the county and was known as a gentle giant with a big heart. One of Juan’s favorite pastimes was morning coffee with friends. Juan also loved dancing, enjoyed to family gatherings during the holidays. He enjoyed making tamales and Buñuelos and his mother’s sweet bread of what he made this past summer for his family.

Juan will be remembered for his big smile, generous heart, loyalty, honesty, humble, and hardworking spirit. He touched the lives of many through his kindness an unwavering work ethic. His presence brought joy to those around him, and his memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Juan is survived by his wife, Ana Isabel Rodriguez whom he married on August 17, 1971; four children who were his joy in life; Brenda Zaccardo and husband Anthony, Juan Antonio Rodriguez and Diana, Matty Celedon and husband Alonso, Alex Rodriguez and wife Samantha; his love for his 10 granddaughters was immeasurable, Victoria Lunceford and husband Cliff, Veanna Del Toro and husband Tyler, Valerie Hernandez and husband Enrique, Alyne, Sofia, and Amara Celedon, Amiah, Lyla, Olivia, and Camilla Rodriguez; great grandson, Santino Del Toro who gave much joy towards the end of his days; siblings, Raquel Varela and husband Eduardo, Luis Medrano, Ruben Medrano and wife Olivia, Gonzalo Medrano and wife Rosa, Olga Nelson and husband Charles, Leticia Martinez and husband Oscar, Maria Isabel Rocha and husband Francisco, Fernando Medrano and wife Fidelina and numerous nieces and nephews whom he also cherished and loved.

He was preceded in death by his mother Maria Matilde Rodriguez and father Gonzalo Medrano.
