
BRADY – The Brownwood Lions concluded their stay at the Brady tournament Saturday with a 65-55 triumph over the San Angelo Central JV.
Brownwood jumped out to a 21-13 advantage after one period, which stood at 34-31 at halftime, then increased to 51-43 after three quarters.
Four Lions finished in double figures, led by Carson Noe with 17 points, Durham Brown and Cannon Calvert with 12 apiece, and Bennett Windham 11 points. Also scoring for Brownwood were Judson Coalson with five points, Elias Perez with four, Aaron Clevenger with three, and Riggs Gray with one point.
The Lions (8-6) are back in action at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday as they play host to the Burnet Bulldogs.
