
FORT WORTH – The Brownwood Lady Lions completed a second straight weekend of undefeated soccer tournament play, sweeping all three foes at the Castleberry tournament to push their win streak to six games.
Following wins of 2-1 over Castleberry and 5-0 over Kennedale Friday, the Lions wrapped up action Saturday morning with a 9-0 triumph against Fort Worth Western Hills.
Amerie De La Paz finished with a hat trick of three goals, Hollyn Duncan and Autumn Reeves contributed two apiece, Madison Weckwerth recorded a goal, and Western Hills had an own goal.
Assists belonged to Weckwerth, Kynlie Lewis, Khloe Galvan, Alayna Hernandez and Kynlee Jefferson.
The Lady Lions (6-1) are off until 5:30 p.m. Friday when they travel to Marble Falls.
