A funeral service for Ricky Leroy Dudley, 62, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 16 at Heartland Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery at noon. Visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Ricky Leroy Dudley passed away Monday, January 12.

He was born on April 16, 1963, in Brownwood, Texas, to Lawrence Leroy Dudley and Nelda June Robinson Dudley.

Ricky was united in marriage to Marigayle Ann Dudley on April 3, 1999, in Comanche, Texas, and he had a blended family of five children: Dana Wall Torres (Christopher), Travis Dudley, Josh Feaster (Brittny), Ashley Feaster (Austin Montoya), Alisha Feaster (Gerardo Granados). He has seven grandchildren: Logan Wall Torres, Melanie Wall Torres, Noah Feaster, Jr. Granados, Mia Montoya, Emma Montoya, and Wyatt Feaster.

He is preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Dudley, and his nephew, Philip Salazar II.

Ricky was a dedicated and hardworking man who worked as a truck driver and heavy equipment operator. He proudly served as a volunteer firefighter in Comanche and was involved in various motorcycle organizations. A true motorcycle enthusiast, Ricky enjoyed the open road.

He loved watching boxing matches and football games and was deeply passionate about his family, especially his grandchildren. Rick loved attending Emma and Mia’s softball games, was incredibly proud of Noah’s UIL District Championship in Spelling and delighted in giving Jr. rides on his Hover-Round. His last and greatest joy was getting to meet his newest grandson, Wyatt, who was born on December 31.

Rick also cherished the memories he shared with his nieces and great-nieces and nephews, holding each of them close to his heart. One of his most favorite things in the world was enjoying meals at Golden Corral and Chinese buffets.

Ricky will be remembered for his strong work ethic, generous heart, love of family, and the many memories he created with those who loved him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
