
Randall “Randy” Vaughn Pittman, 75, passed away on January 12, 2026. Services will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 2:30 pm in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel. The family will host a visitation Friday, January 16, 2026 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Heartland Funeral Home in Early, Texas. Interment will be at Eastlawn Memorial Park following the service on Saturday.
Randy was born on August 26, 1950 in Brownwood, Texas, to R.V. and Alene Pittman. He attended school all of his years in May, Texas and graduated in 1969 from May High School. He attended TSTC after graduation, receiving a degree in electronics.
Randy had many occupations in his life, but the one he worked the longest was working on gas pumps. He loved electronics, and was very good at fixing things.
Randy married Meichele Wise on July 18, 1987. They were blessed with two children.
Randy had many activities he enjoyed. He loved to take his metal detector and go exploring. Randy loved to raise carrier pigeons, and hound dogs. He also loved to go camping and having cook outs. In earlier years, he entered many chili and brisket cook offs. Randy also had a passion for photography and did it professionally for a few years.
Randy is survived by his wife of 38 years, Meichele Pittman; sons, Michael Pittman, of Brownwood, Texas; Teddy Pittman and wife Samantha of Ft. Worth, Texas; daughters, Brandi Moffett and partner Dustin Moffett, of Brownwood, Texas, Peyton Lawson and husband Travis Lawson, of Brownwood, Texas; stepdaughter, Wendi Juarez of Alvin, Texas; and brother, Rick Pittman of Owens, Texas; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, R.V. and Alene Pittman; brothers, Wayne and Jerry Pittman; sister-in-laws, Roseanne Pittman and Lomah Pittman; nieces, Jerry Anne Pittman and Sheryl Pittman; nephew, Dusty Pittman.
The family would like to thank the nurses on the 4th floor and ICU at Hendrick Medical Center Brownwood, the staff at Songbird Lodge, Dr. Amber Ervin, Interim Hospice, and Charles Cooper for always providing excellent and compassionate care.
