The Justice of the Peace Office will be closed on Tuesday, January 27th, 2026. All hearings, court dates and/or appearances will be moved to Wednesday, January 28th, 2026.
- Tuesday’s Brown County Commissioners meeting has been rescheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at the courthouse
- Tuesday’s Brownwood Lady Lions and Lions District 6-4A basketball games at Mineral Wells have been moved to Wednesday starting at 5:45 p.m.
- Tuesday’s Brownwood Lady Lions soccer home game against Burkburnett has been moved to 4 p.m. Wednesday, varsity only
- Tuesday’s Early Lady Horns and Longhorns District 8-3A basketball games at Comanche have been moved to Wednesday, varsity only, beginning at 5 p.m.
