Ruthie Katherine Jackson, 72, of Early, passed away on January 28, 2026, in Brownwood. She was born on December 9, 1953, to William Walter and Ruthie Mae (Lewis) Anderson-Coleman. Ruthie was a sweet, loving, and caring woman whose Christian faith guided her. Ruthie loved working at Aldersgate, where she enjoyed working with others. She enjoyed sewing and especially loved playing BINGO during her time in the nursing home. While there, she was lovingly cared for by her niece and two great nieces, who ensured she received the very best care.

Ruthie is preceded in death by her husband Alvin Jackson, her parents, a son Eddie Stratton, a nephew Travis Humphries, a sister Diane Summerville and a granddaughter.

She is survived by two daughters Brenda Stratton and Jeanette Stratton-Anderson, grandchildren Colby Stratton (Catherine), Joanna Stratton (Nathan), Angel Stratton (Issac), Cody Tinney (Tori), Bobo Tinney (Baylee), Dakota Tinney, Seth Anderson, Zeb Anderson, 14 great grandchildren, sister Betty Frakes and brother Adell Anderson and numerous nieces and nephews.
