A local man was arrested Christmas Day, based on a warrant for continuous sexual abuse of a child under the age of 14. Officers with the Brownwood Police Department arrested Richard Densel Leach Jr. on December 25. Leach was released from the Brown County Jail after posting a $50,000 bond.

Other arrests made by Brown County authorities include:

Adam Wayne Funderburg, 39, of Zephyr, was arrested by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office on a Taylor County warrant for possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver.

Catherine Mitchell McDaniel, 42, was arrested by Brownwood Police on a parole warrant.

Dorothy Schaefer, 36, of Goldthwaite was arrested by the Brownwood Police on a warrant for possession of a controlled substance, less than once gram.

Damon Wayne Beard, 43, was arrested by the Brown County Sheriff’s Department on a warrant out of Callahan County for forgery of a financial instrument.

Delia Denise Perez, 26, was arrested by Brownwood Police for assault on a public servant, tampering with evidence, possession of marijuana (less than two ounces), resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Hunter Don Jackson, 21, of Gardendal, was arrested by Brownwood Police for failure to appear and driving while license invalid.

David Wayne Hersha, 29, of Bangs, was arrested by Brownwood Police for failure to appear-theft of property, less than $500 (check)

Joshua Ryan Daniell, 36 of Early was arrested by Brownwood Police on a warrant for violation of promise to appear and driving while license invalid.

Jaclyn Dyann Davison, 31, of Early, was arrested by Brownwood Police for public intoxication.
