The county commissioner’s face a light agenda when they meet for the first time in 2017. They will discuss and possibly approve employee changes in different county departments and discuss whether to reinstate the burn ban in Brown County. Currently, there is no burn ban in the county. County Judge Ray West will also give the oath of office to county officials who won their respective elections in 2016, including Precinct 1 Commissioner Gary Worley and Precinct 3 Commissioner Wayne Shaw.
