In the late night hours of 4th of July, a Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy performed a traffic stop on a maroon Chevrolet pickup for a defective brake light on County Road 105 near Highway 279. The occupants, identified as Emily Clower and Bryan Childs were both arrested for possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 1 and possession of marijuana, which was a useable amount. A glass methamphetamine pipe was also discovered during the search.
In other incidents:
- A deputy followed up on a nuisance report at Ardee Dr. after several violations were noticed against public nuisance laws. Contact was made with the current renters as well as the homeowner/landlord. All involved were informed of the violations. A follow-up will be conducted next week.
- A deputy was dispatched to a home on CR 559 regarding someone shooting a firework through the window of a private residence.
