Officers with the Early Police Department worked several calls last week and through the weekend. The following is a list of issues responded to by that agency.
- Loose livestock in the 1500 block of Early Blvd. – Owner located
- Agency assist with Comanche Police Department. Suspect involved in a domestic disturbance call ran from the scene and was thought be headed to Early. The suspect was not located.
- A cat was struck by a car in a parking lot in the 200 block of Early Blvd. The Brownwood Animal Control Office was requested. The cat was injured and aggressive. The cat was taken to the humane society.
- Civil standby in the 1500 block of Early Blvd.
- Welfare check in the 500 block of Lucas Dr.
- Missing person in the 200 block of Live Oak Dr. Caller reported daughter with two young children was missing. Subjects were located after several hours.
- A bank in the 300 block of Early Blvd. reported receiving a counterfeit bill, which was received by a business.
- A driver went through a fence on McCullough Dr. A report was taken.
- Reckless driver arrested on Hwy 183 N for possession of drug paraphernalia
- Accident in the 1100 block of Earl Blvd. A truck lost a wheel, forcing the vehicle to crash into a building.
- An individual was cited for a city ordinance violation for selling door to door without a permit.
