🍎 Recipe of the Day – December 5: Peppermint Hot Chocolate

Ingredients

• 2 cups milk
• 1/2 cup heavy cream
• 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
• 2 tablespoons sugar
• 1/2 cup chocolate chips
• 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
• Whipped cream (optional)
• Crushed candy canes (optional)

Instructions

1. Heat milk and cream in a saucepan over medium heat.
2. Whisk in cocoa powder and sugar.
3. Add chocolate chips; stir until melted and smooth.
4. Remove from heat and add peppermint extract.
5. Top with whipped cream and crushed candy canes.
