Earlier this week, a Brownwood Police officer with spoke with a female regarding an assault. A suspect was identified and an investigation has begun. The following is a log of other incidents responded to by BPD:
- A domestic disturbance was reported in the 2400 block of Belmeade. A report was generated.
- An officer was dispatched to the 1600 block of 9th St. in reference to a criminal mischief call. Information was obtained by the complainant and photographs were taken of the damage. A report was generated and the investigation continues.
- A male and female met with an officer at the law enforcement center regarding harassment and stalking. A report was generated.
- An officer was dispatched to the 400 block of W. Commerce regarding theft. A citation for theft under $100 was issued.
- An officer arrived to an area in the 2500 block of 1st St. after being dispatched to the residence in reference to a hit and run crash involving a residence. A juvenile suspect was identified and a directive to apprehend was filed.
- An incident report was completed in reference to a subject failing to comply with sex offender duties on registration.
- An officer spoke with a female at the law enforcement center in reference to a domestic disturbance. The female claimed she was assaulted by her boyfriend and had visible bruises. A family violence report was generated.
- Officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of 10th St. in regards to a runaway juvenile. Descriptions were given and a report was taken.
