Bangs, Brownwood and Early have released their holiday closure and residential waste pick up schedules. The City of Bangs will be closed Monday and Tuesday, December 24 and 25. Trash for Monday customers will be picked up on Monday and trash pickup scheduled for Wednesday, December 26 will be picked up Thursday December 27.

Brownwood City Hall and other non-emergency city facilities will be closed Monday and Tuesday, December 24 and 25 in observance of the Christmas holiday and will reopen December 26. The solid waste collections department will have the following schedule changes for residential curbside trash:
• Monday’s trash routes will be collected December 26
• Tuesday’s trash routes will be collected December 27
• Thursday’s trash routes will be collected December 28
• Friday’s trash routes will be collected December 29

Have your carts out by 7 a.m. to ensure collection. Questions concerning trash routes can be addressed by calling 643-4200. Questions concerning the landfill can be addressed by calling 646-6574 and the recycling center by calling 641-8832. Emergency services are available for water line breaks and sewer backups at any time by calling 646-6000.

Early City Hall and all city offices will be closed December 21 at noon, as well as December 24 and 25. Tuesday’s residential trash routes will be picked up Wednesday, December 26, beginning at 7 a.m. All offices will reopen December 26 at 8 a.m.
