Brown County Sheriff’s Report – Six Cases of Illegal Dumping

The Brown County Sheriff’s Department officers responded to the following calls in the last few days.

On March 3, an illegal dumping was reported at 2300 Red Clay Road.  A report was made.

On March 4, several tires were located along CR 180.  A report was made.

On March 5, an abandoned white 1995 Infinity was towed from Highway 67 and CR 153.  A report was made.

On March 6, Deputy Saydie Hammonds responded to a report of an illegal dumping on North 279.  Several television boxes were illegally put in a dumpster.  A report was made.

On March 6, an illegal dumping was found at CR 406 at CR 411.  A report was made.

On March 10, an illegal dumping was found at the intersection of County Road 226 and 231.  A report was made.

On March 10, an illegal dumping was located on CR 226 and CR 228.  A report was made.

On March 10, Deputy Toby Mathis responded to the intersection of CR 152 and Highway 67 West.  This was for a report of an abandoned vehicle being a traffic hazard.  The vehicle was towed and a report was made.

On Monday, March 9, at about 01:30 hours, Deputy Simpson responded to Reagor Lane in regards to a subject requesting help.  Upon making contact with the subject, Deputy Simpson offered MHMR resources to the subject and the services were refused.  Deputy Simpson was later called back to the same residence with the subject consenting for help.  MHMR was contacted and the subject was medically cleared by Brownwood Regional Medical Center.  Deputy Simpson learned the subject was a sex offender who had not registered with Brown County.  A report was made.

On March 9, at approximately 14:38 hours, while on patrol, Deputy M. Davis was dispatched to Ardee Drive in Brownwood regarding a reported prior theft that occurred.
