AMENDMENT TO CHICK-FIL-A AGREEMENT APPROVED BY BMDD

The Brownwood Municipal Development District Board of Directors met Monday morning, June 8, 2020 in a special called meeting.  The meeting was chaired by Board President Daniel Hutson.  Also present were Board members Marisha Stidham, Ryan Reagan, and Mark Bessent.  Board member Tim Jacobs was absent.

After calling the meeting to order, the Board immediately adjourned to executive session.  After reconvening in public session, the Board voted on an amendment to an economic development agreement with Brownwood CFA Series, LLC., which is the owner/operator of the new Chick-Fil-A restaurant being built on East Commerce.  The amendment was to provide $75,000 for landfill fees and $10,000 for rental fees on screen equipment used in the construction of the new building.  The proposed amendment passed unanimously, and now goes to the Brownwood City Council for ratification.
There being no other business on the agenda, the BMDD Board then adjourned.  The next meeting of the BMDD Board will be June 16, 1:30 p.m. at Brownwood City Hall.  It is a regularly scheduled meeting.
