Chuck Conley, age 76, of Democrat, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2020 in Abilene. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 28, at Goldthwaite Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.  Arrangements are under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home.

Chuck was born on March 1, 1944, in Mullin, to Mable Carlisle. He married the love of his life, Ruby Perry, on August 13, 1961.

Chuck is survived by his daughter, Darla Shelton and husband Sam; son, Charlie Conley and wife Kathy; grandchildren, Candice Davina and spouse Patrick, Sammy Joe Shelton, Tiffany Wilmoth and spouse Jimmie, Jessica Scheiderick and spouse Robert, Megan Conley, Charly Row and spouse Jacob, Jonathan Conley and spouse Kayla, and Heather and Daniel Renfro; great-grandchildren, Hayden York, Elladee Roper, Paige Davina, Traser Shelton, Brizan and Zoltan Wilmoth, Trapper, Treagan and Johanna Kay Schoenhals, Radley and Cannon Scheiderich, Sonny Ann and Abraham Row, and Katy Sue Conley; brothers, Weldon Pittman and spouse Rena, and Eldon Pittman and spouse Molly.

He is preceded in death by parents, wife Ruby, infant son Troy Wayne Conley, and a great grandson Tracker Schoenhals.
