The Brownwood-Brown County Health Department has received an additional 100 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.

According to the City of Brownwood Facebook page:  Currently those 100 vaccine doses are being administered to individuals in the 1A group for distribution which is health providers, first responders and long-term care, among others.  (See photo)

The local health department asks that you not call the hospital or health department about vaccine availability as phone lines are currently dedicated to caring for COVID residents.
