For the week of  February 19-26, 2021, the Brownwood/Brown County Health Department received 62 positive COVID-19 test results, 107 negative, and 74 recoveries. Of the 62 positives,  15 were PCR, and 47 were antigen. There are currently 4 hospitalized in Brown County. Four deaths were reported: one female in her 60’s, not a resident of a nursing facility; two females in their 80’s, one was a resident of a nursing facility and one was not; one male in his 80’s, not a resident of a nursing facility.  There are 112 active cases in Brown County.

COVID-19 Vaccinations:
Brown County currently shows 2,875 people vaccinated with 1st doses, 1,183 people vaccinated with both doses.  30,883 is the estimated for vaccination.
