Early City Council Schedules Tuesday Meeting

The City of Early City Council will meet Tuesday, May 11, at 6:00 pm at 960 Early Boulevard.

Prior to the meeting, the Early Chamber of Commerce will hold a Grand Re-Opening of City Council Chambers from 5:45 pm to 6:00 pm.

When the meeting begins at 6:00 pm, the business agenda is as follows.

Administer Oath of Office to elected officials – Mayor Bob Mangrum, Councilman Travis Eoff and Councilman Garry Forisha.

Consider a variance to allow a controlled agricultural burn at 212 Sunnydale

Consider a Resolution denying Oncor Electric Company’s application to amend its distribution cost recovery factor to increase distribution rates with the city

Consider a Resolution authorizing continued participation with the Steering Committee of cities served by Atmos Energy Corporation and authorize payment to fund regulatory and related activities related to Atmos Energy Corporation

Consider appointing members for the Reorganization and Reinvention Committee for the Early Beautification Commission

Consider an Ordinance adopting a Comprehensive Financial Management Policy
