Weekly Update:
The Brownwood/Brown County Health Department received 27 positive COVID-19 test results. Of the 27 positives, 14 were PCR, and 13 were antigen. None are currently hospitalized in Brown County for COVID-19. One new death has been reported, a male in his 80’s, not a resident of a nursing facility.

Brown County currently reports:

• People with at least one dose – 11,497
• People fully vaccinated – 10,368
• Percentage of people 16+ fully vaccinated – 31.52%

30,883 is the estimated number of Brown County residents eligible for vaccination.

COVID-19 VACCINE APPOINTMENTS

The Brownwood-Brown County Health Department is offering COVID-19 vaccinations to all adults age 18 years old or older. Vaccinations are available by appointment at the Health Department. Please call 325-646-0554 to schedule an appointment for a vaccine.
