Tammy was born February 17, 1972 in Brownwood to Harold and Julia Musick.  She attended May ISD and graduated from Texas State Technical College with a degree in Computer Technology.  Tammy had two children and spent most of her life as a homemaker.  She was a country girl who loved the area she was brought up in and all it had to offer.  Tammy liked the outdoors, most vacations consisted of camping and fishing at Brownwood, Coleman or Thrifty.  For fun, she would go out “back roading”, which consisted of Tammy and family or friends driving the dirt roads around the county looking for deer and enjoying the view while listening to Country.  She was always happy to get the chance to let her hair down and go out dancing to country music.  Tammy was a natural at crochet, she never needed a pattern and loved to make toboggan hats, Afghans, and coasters but her real passion was her children, step children, all of the grandchildren and the great grandchild.  Tammy loved the holidays and reunions with a passion, never passed on an opportunity to spend time with family.

Tammy is survived by her mother, Julia Musick of Blanket; son, Jason Anderson of Blanket; daughters, Brittany Rivera of Brownwood, Mandy York and husband Eddie of Santa Anna, Shelby Vela of Brownwood; brother, Harold E. Musick Jr. and wife Janet; her best friend, Lorie Dixon of Brownwood; 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and several nieces, nephews and friends.

Tammy was preceded in death by her father, Harold Edward Musick Sr. and her grandmother, Charlie Mae Barron.

The family would like to send their warm regards to the staff of Solaris Hospice and an honorary thanks to Hailey and Terrah Sealy for the wonderful care and friendship at their time of need.
