After discussion Monday morning, Brown County Commissioners left the Burn Ban in effect until further notice in Brown County.  This comes as a blustery day is in the forecast today after the arrival of a cold front this morning.  North wind between 20 and 30 mph is expected.  Humidity is also forecast to fall below 30% this afternoon, further enhancing the wildfire threat.

A large wildfire in Comanche County kept firefighters busy from late Monday afternoon, through the night and into this morning (Tues).  The Comanche Volunteer Fire Department was paged to respond to multiple grass fires along Highway 1689 just at the edge of Comanche.  Fire also burned along CR 103.
