JB Mauney, Rocker Steiner, Matt Reeves Headline Thursday Coleman PRCA Rodeo

Two time PBR Bull Riding World Champion JB Mauney and 18 year-old phenom Rocker Steiner, who just made the highest point ride in Bareback Riding history, have entered the Coleman PRCA Rodeo and are both scheduled to compete on Thursday night, June 9.

They will be joined by Coleman cowboys Riley Harris in the Bull Riding and Walt Arnold in the Steer Wrestling.  Matt Reeves of Cross Plains will also compete in the Steer Wrestling on Thursday night.

Thursday night is Family Night with all tickets are adults and children just $5.00 each.  It is also Tough Enough to Wear Pink as the Coleman Rodeo Association makes a donation to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for each person who wears pink.

The Mutton Bustin’ starts at 7:15 pm with opening ceremonies at 8:00 pm.

Mauney (above) won PBR World Titles in 2013 and 2015.  He also qualified for the National Finals Rodeo last December in Las Vegas.

On June 5, Steiner (above) etched his name in the PRCA record books with a 95-point ride on C5 Rodeo’s Virgil at the Riggin’ Rally Xtreme Broncs in Darby, Mont. It is the highest scored bareback ride in the history of the sport.

Matt Reeves (above) of Cross Plains is a several time qualifier to the Wrangler National Finals in Steer Wrestling and won The American in Arlington in 2020.

Jody Nix (above) and The Texas Cowboys play across Texas and the Southwest bringing the best country and western swing dance music wherever they perform.  Enjoy Jody Thursday night, June 9, at the Coleman PRCA Rodeo starting at 9:00 pm.  Admission is $15 per person with dance tickets available at the gate.
