BROWNWOOD, Texas – The new Texas Outpatient & Infusion Center just opened in the medical area on the south side of Brownwood. The clinic, located at 2410 Crockett Drive, Suite B, adjacent to the Texas Health & Human Services office, offers a promising medical therapy for metabolic failure, including diabetes and related diabetic conditions.

The therapy uses physiologic insulin resensitization (PIR) in which insulin is administered through a patented process using IV infusion. Branded as Diabetes Relief®, it works by using small doses of insulin as a hormone rather than a drug. The approach resensitizes cells in the human body, allowing them to revitalize.

According to Dr. Dwayne Miller, medical director, diabetic (Type 1 or Type 2) and pre-diabetic patients receiving the therapy are reporting a reduction in neuropathic symptoms, improved kidney function, and lower blood sugar levels. Some patients with age-related macular degeneration (AMD) have shown improved eyesight.
