Brown County Commissioners Agenda Posted for Monday Meeting

Brown County Commissioners will hold their first meeting of the month on Monday, December 5, at 9:00 am on the first floor of the county courthouse. The agenda is below.

1. Declare a Quorum and Call Meeting to Order
2. Prayer- Ron Keener

3. Recognition of Special Guests and Presentations

4. Citizen Comments (All speakers will be required to adhere to the rules of procedure, conduct and decorum adopted by the Court on August 12, 2019. Any disruptive, abusive, obscene, or disrespectful behavior will be terminated immediately.) All Presentations are subject to a five (5) minute time limit. Multiple person groups will be limited to one speaker.

5. Consideration and approval of the Agenda Minutes from the previous meeting (s)11/21/2022
6. Consideration and approval of any Treasurer’s/Auditor’s Report.

7. Consideration and approval of all appropriate action regarding the following:

A. Honorable Joel Kelton, Commissioner Pct. 2 – Consideration and possible approval of action regarding bum ban.
B. Honorable Judge Paul Lilly- Consideration and possible approval of County Holidays for the 2023 calendar year.
C. Pat McLaughlin, Grants Coordinator- Consideration and possible approval of action to of out for sealed bids for Foundation repair at The Oaks Rite of Passage. (CJ)
D. Pat McLaughlin, Grants Coordinator- Consideration and possible approval of action to employ North American Analytical Labs, Gene Walker, to test the VCT Tile at The Oaks Rite of Passage for asbestos before bidding the VCT tile replacement. (CJ)
E. Pat McLaughlin, Grants Coordinator- Consideration and possible approval of action of getting bids for VCT tile repair at The Oaks Rite of Passage if asbestos test is negative. (CJ)
F. Honorable Judge Paul Lilly- Consideration and possible approval of a new funding agreement for FY 2022/2023 between the County of Brown and the Brownwood Library for the State Library.

8. Consideration and approval of payment of any bills needed.
