Birthdays are special, but when it’s your 102nd birthday, it’s super extra special!
Myd Graves is a resident of Oak Ridge Manor in Brownwood. She was presented flowers, numerous gifts and a big, beautiful birthday cake by her church family, North Lake Community Church of May, Texas.
“I have appreciated this church, very much,” Graves said, adding she feels like one of God’s miracles. She said she has enjoyed a happy life and was able to travel all over the world.
“Myd Graves, Saturday (March 11), you were 102 years old. We at North Lake Community Church are so honored and privileged you are a part of our church. Thank you for your dedication to all of what North Lake Community Church is about. Happy 102nd and we’re going to look forward to next year 103,” said Ron Keener, pastor of the church.
She then blew out the candles on her cake which was enjoyed by those in attendance.
