PROCLAMATION TEXAS FIRST RESPONDER DAY SEPTEMBER 11TH

Brown County Commissioners on Monday morning adopted a Proclamation naming September 11th Texas First Responder Day.

WHEREAS, Texas first responders provide valuable services through their assistance to the citizens of their communities and Brown County during times of need and crisis; and

WHEREAS, they respond to emergencies without hesitation when the call of duty arises and tirelessly give of their time and energy in humanitarian efforts, making themselves available every hour of the day, every day of the year; and

WHEREAS, responders have physical strength, stamina, extensive training, courage, and selfless concern for the welfare of others; and

WHEREAS, it is appropriate to recognize the duties and services that first responders perform by observing September 11th as Texas First Responders Day in Brown County.

NOW, THEREFORE, the Brown County Commissioners Court does hereby proclaim September 11th as Texas First Responder Day in Brown County and encourages all residents to take time to show the First Responders how much their service is valued in the county.
