Glynn Pinson, 74, of Early

Funeral services for Glynn Pinson, age 74, of Early, will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, February 22, 2024 in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel. Burial with Masonic Rites and military honors will follow in the Eastlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00. Glynn passed from this life on Sunday, February 18, 2024 in an Abilene Hospital.
Delton Glynn Pinson was born on March 19th, 1949 to Audie L and Dorthy (Eoff) Pinson. After graduating from Early highschool in 1967 Glynn started working for 3M. In 1968 he enlisted in the Army as a clerk for various units where he spent 2 years in Germany. After being discharged honorably, he then returned to 3M until 1983 at which time he started his long journey of selling cars at Daniel Motor Company, Holley Chevrolet Company, and Bruner Auto Group where he retired in 2017. Glynn was a 50 year member of Brownwood Masonic Lodge and was also a member of the Scottish Rite of Free Masonry, and Suez Shriners.
Glynn married the love of his life Carrolyn (Fisher) Pinson on July 6th,1968. They have been married for 55 years. Glynn loved Carrolyn with all his heart, they worked together and made the best team. The love they have for each other will forever be, they completed each other and provided a life full of happiness and love. Glynn had a passion for fixing anything that was old, unique, had four or two wheels and didn’t work. If anybody could make something run it was him. He could fix cars, tractors, and even little hot wheel cars for his grandkids. Glynn loved his family and friends, he was a kind hearted soul and made a positive impact on everyone he associated with. Glynn was an amazing husband, dad, grandad, great grandad and friend. He always gave a helping hand, and could educate you about everything you need to know about a vehicle, as well as sell you any vehicle. He was good at what he did and he accomplished many amazing things in his life.
Glynn leaves behind his wife Carrolyn, two sons, Anthony Pinson of Owens and Steven Pinson of May. Granddaughters Toni, Shaunna Kay, Emma, Dani and Jordan and great grandchildren Alaric, James, Brixton and Maisyn. One brother, Junior Pinson of Zephyr and many nieces, nephews and cousins and a multitude of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his twin brother Lynn Pinson.
