The UIL on Monday revealed its soccer realignment for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 school years, and the Brownwood Lions and Lady Lions will face most of the same foes.

Still in District 5-4A, Brownwood will battle Stephenville, Gatesville, Lampasas, China Spring and Little River Academy again for the next two seasons.

The one school that was shipped out of the league is reigning boys and girls champion Salado. The Lady Eagles and Eagles will both compete in Region III’s District 23 for the next two campaigns.

Had the revamped district been in play this spring, the Lady Lions would have finished as the third playoff seed from 5-4A, while the Lions would have occupied the fourth postseason position.
