The Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for new chamber member, Mel’s Treats and Antojitos on Thursday, March 28th, 2024. Located at 2508 Belle Plain in Brownwood, Mel’s Treats is named after its owner, Melody Velasquez. Helping her bring her love of food to the community is her husband, Rudy.
Mel’s Treats was recently featured at the 2024 Professional Women’s Summit serving dessert for 200 women in our business community at the Brownwood Lyric Theatre.
