AJ Anderson, age 75, of Bangs, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2024 in Abilene with his family by his side. A Celebration of Life for AJ will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, November 23, at Heartland Funeral Home in Early.

AJ was born on August 7, 1949 to Gloria and Felix (Andy) Anderson in Amarillo. He drove a cement truck for over 41 years for Ingram Concrete. AJ enjoyed farming, fishing, hunting, watching old western movies, and tending to his goats.

AJ is survived by his wife, Betty Bartholomew; children, Wendy Morris and husband Kevin, Timothy Anderson and wife Lorretta, Misti Griffin and husband Aleck, and BJ Anderson and wife Lacy, and Rachel Anderson; step daughter, Rebecca Johnson; his grandchildren, Troy and Shelbie Weiss, Dustin and Ranee Weiss, Daniel Luna, Harlie and Gus Consolvo, Remington and Devin Marks, Megan and Ausin Henson, Lindsey Marks, Hayden and Serenity Anderson, Faith, Abby, and Ryan Anderson, Jordan Griffin, Michael and Emma Griffin, Addison Griffin, Audrie Griffin, Erin and Jack Tomme, Emily and Zach Jones, Joe, Christopher, and Priscilla Bartholomew. He is also survived by 25 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Gloria Anderson, and his sister, Lorene Faries.
